Steven Tse – Certified Personal Trainer & Movement Specialist

San Gabriel Valley native Steven Tse was born with a creative edge, first exploring his talents as a visual artist. While studying graphic communications in college, he refined his pop-style illustrations, often focusing on the social and economic impacts of fast food and its effects on the human body. This curiosity sparked a new chapter in his life—health and fitness.

Originally living a sedentary lifestyle with a naturally lean build, Steven took his first bodybuilding course in college. Since then, he has embraced a multidisciplinary approach to training, blending bodybuilding, Olympic weightlifting, yoga, and cross-training. His programs are always individualized, rooted in holistic principles that emphasize functional movement, injury prevention, mobility, and correcting imbalances to help clients achieve optimal body composition and long-term health. He also specializes in supporting clients recovering from low back injuries, with patience and precision guiding the healing process.

In 2012, Steven graduated from both the USFS Wildland Fire Academy (CAL FIRE certified) and the Emergency Medical Technician program. He went on to serve as a Wildland Firefighter and first responder with both government and state agencies, while also supporting physical training for cadets. These experiences—combined with his own challenges overcoming injuries—shaped him into a well-rounded trainer with a deep understanding of resilience and performance.

Steven’s professional background includes roles as a physical performance instructor, commercial fitness manager, and nutrition consultant for various fitness brands and gyms. He also studied Kinesiology at Pasadena College, further grounding his practice in science and movement.
