STEVEN TSE

Personal Trainer, Strength & Mobility Coach

Starting with a sedentary lifestyle and a naturally slender physique, Steven first discovered his interest in strength training during a college bodybuilding course. While pursuing for his undergraduate major in Communication Studies, he instead completed and graduated from the USFS Wildland Fire Academy (CAL FIRE–certified) and the Emergency Medical Technician program. While working as a first responder and an academy cadet trainer, he continued his education through PCC’s Fire Technology degree and certificate programs. Over the years, he has incorporated yoga, cross-training, bodybuilding and Olympic weightlifting into his own multidisciplinary training approach.

After experiencing a low-back injury himself, Steven used his education and training background to help clients rebuild muscle and strength while moving away from chronic low-back pain. His programs are individualized and rooted in holistic principles—focusing on functional movement, injury prevention, mobility, correcting muscular imbalances to support optimal performance and body composition goals. He emphasizes patience in the healing process, recognizing that recovery requires a mindful 360 degree retraining of the body.

Steven’s past professional experience includes roles as a performance instructor, commercial fitness manager, and consultant. He also studied Kinesiology & Wellness while graduating at Pasadena College.
